Charter
PREAMBLE
We, the servants of the Catholic Church through music of the Diocese of Imus, invoking the aid of God through Mary, in order to foster full, conscious and active participation of all the faithful in liturgical celebrations and to pursue excellence in choral music in the service of a community that is maka-Diyos, maka-tao, maka-buhay, maka-kalikasan at makabayan, do hereby formulate and promulgate this constitution.
ARTICLE I
Name
The organization shall be called MUSICAVITEÑO – Diocesan Ministry on Liturgical Music, Inc.

ARTICLE II
Nature and Objectives
Section 1. Nature – MUSICAVITEÑO is the music arm of the Diocesan Ministry on Liturgy.
Section 2. MUSICAVITEÑO has the following objectives:
2.1 to deepen the sense of faith and the sense of calling towards service of the Church through music among
the faithful.
2.2 to assist and uphold the rights and obligations of the different parish-based choirs and develop
collaborative efforts among and with them.
2.3 to establish network and good relationships among choirs.
2.4 to pursue excellence in music through formations, clinics, and workshops.
2.5 to preserve, promote and make use of the religious traditions of the people.
2.6 to help uplift the human spirit by evoking what is noble in persons amidst the challenges of everyday life.
2.7 to coordinate with other ministries in order to effect true and total worship.
2.8 to hold activities that is geared toward uplifting the musicality, spirituality and personality of all the
faithful.
